WHS Celebrates Students in Career and Technical Education Hundreds of CTE students will showcase their work in the high school commons on Wednesday, April 24th from 6 pm to 8 pm. The public is invited to attend and support their endeavors.
Kansas All-Star Scholars Fund The Kansas All-Star Scholars Fund Program has increased the funding for seniors who move on to post-secondary education.

USD 353 Driver’s Education 2024 A driver's education course will be offered this summer for students who have completed their eighth-grade year of school and will be 14 years of age by May 31st, 2024.
Nominations Are Now Being Accepted For the Excellence in Teaching Award A cash award of $1,000 will be presented to one classroom teacher employed by USD 353 in grades K-12 at the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year and returning for the 2024-2025 school year.

WHS students' work featured in Kansas Youth Art Month Exhibit WHS seniors Emma Gooch and Jae Shamblin each had artwork displayed the Topeka art exhibit. Shamblin won 3D Best in Show for her ceramic piece and was honored at the event's March 23 reception.
