Rules and Expectated Behaviors
In order to provide our students with the excellent educational climate that they deserve, we will use the following classroom discipline plan that will be in effect at all times.
RULES AND EXPECTED BEHAVORS:

Be responsible.

Respect yourself and others.

Choose to learn.

Allow the teacher to teach.

Do your personal best.

Observe all rules and procedures.
- Everyone begins the day with a green stick.
- If you are not following the rules you receive a yellow stick. This is a warning and means that you will serve 5 minutes at recess or after school.
- If you break the rules again after a yellow stick, you must serve 10 minutes at recess or after school.
- A second red stick is given if you continue to choose to break the rules. This means that a note will go home to the parents, a talk with Mr. Brown, and you will serve detention after school. Detention is served in Mrs. Jacobs' room from 3:30-4:00.
- Sticks can always be earned back if a student's behavior improves.
- Students can also earn "extra" green sticks for good behavior.
**Severe Clause** Any child who causes bodily harm to another will be sent directly to Mr. Brown.
Children who behave appropriately will be positively rewarded with praise, free time, stickers, and/or special treats.
It is in your child's best interest that we work together with regard to his/her education. I have already discussed this plan with your child and ask that you review this plan with him/her at home.
