Math---Right now in Math your student needs to be working on:

adding 2 and 3 digit numbers

telling time to the hour and 5 minute

counting money (knows all coins and the values)

counting change back (from $1.00 and then change in dollars from $100)

work on place value (ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands)

 

Spelling---Your student should bring home a spelling list each week on their Homework Machine. Please have your student practice these words for the test at the end of the week.

 

 

Reading---Each Monday your student will be bringing home their hardback reader to read with you. Please read through this story with your student and send the book, along with a note that you read the story, back to school the next day. It is IMPORTANT that your student return their book to school. They can always take them home another night if you need them to.

 

Please make sure that you notify the office if your child will not be at school. I would be glad to get your students homework together for them to work on when not here. Thanks for all your help! Please let me know if you have any questions.
