Last month sure “Marched” right on by and no foolin’ the month of April will be just as busy!! It was great to meet with you at Parent Teacher Conferences. Thank you for coming and you are always welcome to visit anytime!

April will be a busy month for us! Below are some dates you might want to mark on your calendar.

On Monday, April 29, we will be going to the zoo! Thank you to the volunteers who signed up to go with us to the zoo! We will be making T-Shirts in class for them to wear to the zoo. Please be sure to send $6.00 by Tuesday, April 15, so that I can purchase their shirts. This $6.00 is going to be used to purchase the t-shirts and supplies; as well as pay for their zoo admission any leftover money will be divided into quarters and given to the children so that they can purchase food to feed the animals at the zoo. PTA has graciously paid for the buses.

Thursday, April 24, will be the Washington Track Meet. Kindergarten does participate in some of the events. The time that kindergarten will participate will be announced closer to time and the students will need to bring a sack lunch.

This month we will continue to work on numbers, letters, sounds and sight words. In the last quarter, the children will be working on writing their letters and numbers for our grade cards. Continue to practice these skills at home. Also, continue to practice sight words.

Finally, the snack cabinet is getting bare. Please send some as soon as you can. Thanks!!
