The CRUSADER HEAD Is Home Once Again!

The CRUSADER HEAD that adorned the south outside wall of the former high school on "A" Street for nearly a half century and was recently refurbished by David Carroll and David Klein, both students at the former high school during it's first 3 yrs of back home again if you will and will proudly overlook the Commons area at the present high school on East 16th...thank you David and David for giving it life again for all Crusaders young and old to enjoy! You guys are awesome! GO BIG RED!

USD 353 Administrators Convene For First 2017-2018 Admin Meeting

MS Fall Sports Parent Meeting Tonight @ WHS!

Fall Sports are just around the corner if you can believe that...early next week are mandatory Fall Sports Parents Meetings, at WHS on the 7th and 8th for both high school and middle school parents of fall student-athletes.

KRR Summer Campers Take Field Trip To TANGANYIKA!

Check out the PHOTOS from Week 1 of KRR Summer Camp Journey being held at Kennedy Elementary. There are about 100 students from Kennedy, Lincoln, and Washington who are doing activities in reading, math. science, robotics, community service projects, team building and field trips. The group went to Tanganyika on Friday. Students also eat breakfast, and lunch during the program.

Here are some pics from WEEK #3 at the KRR Summer Camp being held at Kennedy Elementary this month of June. The field trip for WEEK # 3 was to the Alley Entertainment Center in Wichita! This Friday - June 30th at 12:30pm at KENNEDY ELEMENTARY is the Summer KRR Camp Journey Slideshow Presentation for parents, grandparents, and the Wellington community to see all the things the students did and learned this summer. Teaching Excellence and Longevity Awards Presented!

At the 2016-2017 Employee Appreciation Program at WHS Wednesday morning, numerous USD 353 personnel were recognized for their years of service and "11" employees of the district were bid a fond farewell as they are retiring. The EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD for this school year was also announced by the USD 353 Foundation. Out of approx. 30 nominations, the honor went to WHS Instructor Karla Defore! Congratulations Mrs. Defore!! Karla has taught in the district since 2006!

History Comes Alive at Lincoln Living Wax Museum

The 5th graders at Lincoln Elementary on Monday, made history come alive, about 2 dozen or so "famous folk" from the past lined the halls, awaiting the simple push of a button and they'd share a little history about themselves...superbly done and it was fun - who gets to talk to Pocahontas, Ponce De Leon, George Washington, Squantos, Anne Hutchison, Nancy Morgan Hart, Paul Revere, James Oglethorpe, William Penn, John Hancock, Thomas Jefferson and others and eat popcorn in their midst!
