Industrial Arts @ WHS * Hands-On & Practical

Industrial Arts is an educational program which features fabrication of objects in wood or metal using a variety of hand, power, or machine tools. A visit to Mr. Ryan Elder's classes on Wednesday at WHS found many interesting and practical projects in progress. No student encouragement is needed - when the bell rings the students get down to business. A couple of classes were building tool caddies, others worked on numerous woodwork items including tables, outdoor furniture and more.

This is her second year to be chosen for this honor, and she is now eligible to audition for the State Honor Band. Last year Marisa was also selected for this group.
