Sophomores at WHS and surrounding schools participated in the Reality U simulation organized by Mrs. Case and sponsored by Impact Bank on October 14. The exercise builds financial literacy by simulating a month in the life of a 26-year old and tasking students with budgeting for all the typical expenses and necessities for their future household. (Each student receives a profile of what their life looks like and they must provide for any need accordingly, whether it is paying for children, car insurance, phone bills, or student loans, etc.) This is the fifth year the event has been hosted by WHS.
