Due to road conditions, expected dangerous Monday morning wind chills, and HVAC issues, there will be no school for USD 353 on Monday, January 26th. Thank you for your patience as we work to make things safe for our staff and students to resume classes on Tuesday morning. Please stay warm and safe.

USD 353 BOE Meeting Scheduled for January 12th

The USD 353 BOE will hold its January meeting on Monday, January 12th at 6:00pm at Central Office. The meeting will be live-streamed and is open to the public.

Fire Alarm at WHS

Dear Wellington Community,
This morning a fire alarm went off at Wellington High School. It was not a scheduled fire drill. All students were escorted outside for safety. The Wellington Fire Department investigated the building and determined that it was safe for students and staff to re-enter the building. All students are safe and back in classes.

BOE Meet and Greet and New Member Training Scheduled for January 5th

The public is invited to a come-and-go meet and greet with USD 353 Board of Education members on January 5th, 5:00pm at Central Office. Following the meet and greet, the BOE will take part in the KASB new board member training at 6:00pm at Central Office. All of this is open to the public.
