On 1/17 at a special BOE meeting, the BOE approved changes to the districts Safety and Operation Plan. The updates are to the testing and quarantine portion of the plan. The district will now be following the KDHE Test to Know Plan (strategy B). The plan can be found here
Please note:
-Under this plan the district will no longer be doing daily testing of close contacts.
-There will be no more testing in the WMS Aux gym in the mornings. Staff can still receive testing as long as testing supplies are available. They will set up testing times with nursing staff.
-There was no change to the masking guidance. Masks will be required for all schools this week (1-18/-21st)
All changes will take effect beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, January 18th)
