Last week, Wellington High School USD 353 senior Philip Starnes committed to attend Sterling College on a scholarship package for academics, band, and drama. Band director for Sterling College Larry Brownlee was on-hand along with Philip's parents Chris and Donna and WHS band director Allen Hisken to witness Philip's signing of the letter of intent. Philip will be following in the footsteps of his grandmother who is also a Sterling alum. Congratulations Philip!
