Residents of Wellington now have two new reasons to root for the Butler County Grizzlies football team! Yesterday, WHS seniors Malachi Rogers and Montel Tate both signed letters of intent to play football for the Grizzlies. The families of both athletes, WHS head football coach Jeremiah Meeks, Activities Director Elly Johnson, and a large crowd of students were on hand to witness the signings and show their support. Malachi will play running back and Montel will play defensive back for the team this fall. Congratulations Montel and Malachi, we know you will do great things! Go Grizzlies!
